Fine Flour

 

The perfection of the character of Jesus Christ was even and well balanced, a perfect personality in complete balance, just like Adam’s was. No part of Christ’s character was out of balance. Nothing in His personality or character was in excess or lacking in any way.

 

Fine flour was expensive and highly prized, just as Jesus’ nature was to God. The whole grain of wheat has to be crushed to obtain fine flour.

 

Isaiah 53:5 

“He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought up peace was upon Him.”

 

Salt

Salt Speaks of a Preservative, enhancer and preserved in judgement

 

Mark 9:50

Salt is good, but if it looses its saltiness, how can you make it salty again. Have salt in yourselves and be at peace with each other”

 

Colossians 4:6

“ Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how to answer everyone”

 

In Judgement

Mark 9:49

“Everyone will be salted with fire”

 

Honey

Honey Speaks of natural sweetness and is not acceptable for a relationship with God.

“For it is by grace have been (you are) saved, through faith, and this not from yourselves, it is the gift from God, not by works so that no one can boast. For we are God’s workmanship

 

Beaten Oil

The bright light of the Holy Spirit

Frankincense

The pleasing fragrance of Christ’s person; and life to God the Father.

 

Yeast – Leaven

Yeast and leaven speak of wickedness and evil

“Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven, leavens the whole lump? Purge out therefore the old leaven that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us. Therefore keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.”

 

Fat

Fat speaks of the inner beauty and the zeal of The Lord Jesus Christ.

“Zeal for your house will consume Me

“My food is to do the will of Him who sent me and to finish His work”

 

Kidneys

The kidneys speak of cleansing

 

Leviticus 16:30

On this day atonement will be made for you, to cleanse you, then, before the Lord, you will be clean from all you sins.”

 

1 John 1:7

“The blood of Jesus Christ God’s Son cleanses\purifies us from all sin.

 

Shoulder

The shoulder speaks of Strength

 

Nehemiah 8:10

“The joy of the Lord is your strength”

“The Lord is my strength and my song”

 

Isaiah 40:31

“They that wait upon the Lord will renew their strength”

 

Breast

The Breast speaks of Christ affections

 

Zephaniah 3:17

“The Lord your God is with you, He is mighty to save. He will delight in you, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.”

 

Blood = Life

 

Blood is either literal or a figure of speech. Shedding of blood represents the slaying of the innocent, and then the punishment of the guilty

 

The blood of Christ figuratively refers to His Spiritual death

 

Leviticus 17:11

“The life of a creature is in the blood, and I have given it to you to make atonement for one’s life”

“Christ our Passover lamb has been sacrificed.”

By believing in Jesus Christ, the sacrificed Messiah, we partake of Christ life, which is eternal in nature.

God’s Holiness as seen in the purification, away from all sin

 

God’s holiness as seen in purging through suffering the effects of sin in our lives and to bear the same kind of suffering He endured.

 

Philippians 1:29
