Deuteronomy 4:39

Acts 17:28

He is self existent, always was and always will be.

No one ever made God, because He has always has been God and always will be God. Never was there a time when He was not.

God exists and lives within and outside of all His creation and never has to support Himself. He is the support of everything. The creator never needed creating. He is self-existent.

He never depends upon His creatures for His own existence, characteristically or personally. He calls Himself the “I AM”

God reveals Himself as an immaterial Spirit, an infinite and absolute being. All loving, all righteous, all just, all sovereign, all eternal, all knowing, all powerful, all present, all truth and never changing!

He never has changed or ever will change! He has no reason to change.

We change, God never does! We must make adjustments to Him

He is self-consistent, orderly, dependable, purposeful and understandable only through His revelation.

The Conclusion - God is boss!

The Lord is patient with you, not wanting any to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

2 Peter 3:9

For His name is exalted, His glory above heaven and earth, Holy is the Lord God almighty, who was and who is and is to come, who sits on His throne and who lives forevermore.

3: The Persons of God

God reveals Himself in the plurality of personality throughout the entire scriptures. They are a team with very specific roles, working together in perfect unity and in complete communication.

The plurality of unity - The triune God

Jesus said, I tell you the Truth; No one can see the Kingdom of God unless He is born again, born of the water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh and Spirit gives birth to spirit.

5: Who is Satan the Devil?

Are these names his original names or did he become something he was not created to be?

Where were you when I laid the earths foundation? Tell me if you understand. Who marked off its dimensions? Surely you know! Who stretched a measuring line across it? On what were it’s footings set, or who laid its cornerstone – while the morning stars sang together and all the angels shouted for joy?

Job 38:4-7

You were the model of perfection, full of beauty. You were in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone adorned you; ruby, topaz, and emerald, chrysolite, onyx, and jasper, sapphire, turquoise and beryl. You settings and mountings were made of gold; on the day you were created they were prepared. You were anointed as a guardian cherub, for so I ordained you. You were on the Holy mount of God; you walked among the fiery stones. You were blameless in your ways from the day you were created.

Until wickedness was found in you!

Ezekiel 28:12-15

How you have fallen from Heaven, O morning star, son of the dawn!

You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations! You said in your heart,

I will ascend to heaven;

I will raise my throne above the stars of God;

I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly, on the utmost heights of the sacred mountain.

I will ascend above the tops of the clouds;

I will make myself like the Most High. But you are brought down to Hades, to the lowest depths of the pit.

Hebrews 2:14-15

What held God’s Just process up?

6: The Human Experiment  God’s Word on Trial

God’s love and Justice was maligned and the court in heaven ran a re-trial, involving innocent creatures.  God demonstrates His Love and Justice on earth to His creatures, even when they fail and sin. Satan is engaging in open warfare on the earth and in Heaven.

His aim is to prove God to be unjust, unfair and a liar, just like He is.

Key words through out all of scripture are judicial courtroom words. The court of appeal is in session.

Righteous, just, justice, honourable, liar, forgiveness, pardoned, retribution, judge and judged, impartial, guilty, condemned, advocate, witness, truth, falsehood, bribe, accuser, sentenced, blameless, upright, charge, accuser,

7: Adam and Eve - Became the Marred Creation

God saw that He had made everything and it was very good!

Genesis 1

They had everything they could have needed; yet through Satan’s deception, by asking subjective questions and sowing doubt into Eve’s mind about God’s command, Eve was motivated to eat, she doubted God and His providence partook of the fruit. Adam ate too, out of her hand.

Every person is tempted when they are drawn away of their own lust and enticed. When lust has conceived, brings forth sin and sin when it is finished brings forth death.

James 1:14-15

Through doubt and complacency they sinned and grasped fear. They disobeyed and were both banished from the garden and the presence of The Lord God, but not before The Lord promises to return as a human being, as the second Adam to retrieve the fearful situation. He held out on their punishment and was to come and sacrifice Himself for their failure, and provide a way back to God and service to Himself. What Adam did, Jesus Christ (the second Adam) would reverse and provide His creatures the option to come back to Him.

Sin affects all of creation, spreading darkness, despair, and destruction, where once was light; Corruption where there was perfection; Confusion where there was order; Death where there was once life and hatred where there was once love.

God’s first act was an act of love and He gave a promise.

And I will put enmity between you and the woman,
And between your seed and her Seed; (Jesus Christ)
He shall bruise your head,
And you shall bruise His heel.”

The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure.

Who can understand it?

Jeremiah 17:9

All of us have become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous acts are like filthy rags; we all shrivel up like a leaf, and like the wind our sins sweep us away.

Isaiah 64:6

Since the children have flesh and blood, He Jesus too shared in their humanity so that by His death,

He might destroy him who holds the power of death, that is the Devil and free those who all their lives
were held in slavery by their fear of death.

Hebrews 2:14-15

Our problem is one problem; God’s solution is the One and Only One solution. God’s purpose and provision is to make every member of the human race a member of His One New Order, making us new creatures, prepared and equipped for His Glory.

You have made known to me the path of life; you fill me with joy in your presence, with pleasure at you right hand forevermore.

One thing I ask and this is what I seek, that I may dwell in

the beauty of the Lord and seek Him in His temple.

The path back to life, is the path of faith, faith in One alone

It desires you (to control you) and you must master it

Salvation is found in none other for there is no other name (Jesus Christ) under heaven, given among men by which we must be saved!

1 John 2:2

I Am the door, by Me if any man enter in he shall be saved.

John 10:9

And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me,

is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand.

John 10:28-29

10: Tower of Babel

Let’s make a Name for ourselves and not be scattered over the face of the entire world

The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of Heaven and Earth and does not live in temples built by hands,

and He is not served by human hands as if He needed anything, because He Himself gives all men breath and everything else.

From one man He made every nation of men that they should inhabit the whole earth; and He determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live. God did this so men would seek Him and perhaps reach out for Him and find Him, though he is not far from each of us. For in Him we live and move and have our being.

Acts 17:24-28

Seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near

By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as an inheritance, obeyed and went out not knowing where he was going.

12: Promised - Land, Seed and Blessing

By faith, Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going. By faith he made his home in the Promised Land like a stranger in a foreign country; he lived in tents, for he was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God

Hebrews 11:8-10

Against all hope, Abraham in Hope believed and so became the Father of many nations. He did not waver in unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had the power to do what He had promised

Romans 4:18-22

13: Moses – God’s Deliverer

Exodus 3:7

14: IsraelMy Son

Did ever a people hear the voice of God?

Deuteronomy 4:33

You are a people, holy and set apart to the Lord your God.

The Lord your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be His people,
His treasured possession. The Lord did not set His affection on you and choose you because you
were more numerous than other peoples, for you were the fewest of all peoples. But it was because
He Loved you and kept the oath He swore to your forefathers that He brought out with a mighty
hand and redeemed you from the land of slavery, from the power of Pharaoh, king of Egypt.

Know that the Lord you God is God; He is a faithful God, keeping His covenant of Love to a thousand

Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord and the people He has chosen for His own inheritance.

Psalm 33:12

The ox knows his owner and the ass his master’s crib; but Israel does not know;
My people does not consider; Ah sinful people laden down with iniquity; a seed of evil doers.

Isaiah 1:3-4

They refused to listen and failed to remember the miracles you performed among them. They became stiff-necked and in their rebellion appointed a leader in order to return to their slavery. But you are a forgiving God, gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in mercy.

You did not desert them, even when they cast for themselves an image of
a calf, and said, “This is your god, who brought you out of Egypt”. Because of your compassion, you did not abandon them when they cried out to you again…
You heard from heaven. You delivered them time after time!

Nehemiah 9:17-19, 28

David says the Lords covenant with His Son Israel is unconditional

If His sons forsake my law and do not follow My statutes, If they violate My decree’s and fail to keep My commands, I will punish their sin with the rod, their iniquity with flogging; But I will not take My love from him, nor will I ever betray My faithfulness. I Will Not violate my covenant or altar what My lips have uttered. Psalm 89:30-37

Jesus said;
O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets, and stone them sent to you, how often I would have gathered your children together, even as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing.

Matthew 23:37

God is not a man that He should lie, nor the Son of Man that he should repent. Does He yet speak and then not act.

Does He promise and not fulfil. I have received commandment to bless, He has blessed and I cannot reverse it.

Numbers 23:19

15: Anti Semitism

The Lord said to Abraham, “Leave your country, your people and your fathers household and go to a land,

I will show you. I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you. I will make your name great,
and you will be a blessing. I will bless them that bless you and curse them that curse you.

Genesis 12:1-3

O God, do not keep silent; be not quiet, O God, be not still. See how your enemies are astir; see how your foes rear their heads.
With cunning they conspire against your people, they plot against those you cherish.

Come, they say, “let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be remembered no more.”
With one mind they plot together; they form an alliance against you…

Psalm 83:1-4

16: The Witnesses of Old – People of Renown

The Testing of Faith, Trust in God’s Word and Walking in Obedience to God’s Word.

On the day the angels came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came with them. The Lord said to Satan, ”Where have you come from?” Satan answered the Lord, from roaming the earth and going back and forward in it. Then the Lord said to Satan, have you considered My servant Job. There is none like him on the earth; he is blameless and upright; a man who fears God, and shuns evil.

Job 1:6-8

Does he fear God for nothing?

Remember how the Lord your God led you all the way in the desert these forty years to humble you and to test you in order to know what was in your heart, whether or not you would keep His commands. He humbled you causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your fathers had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every Word that comes from the mouth of the Lord.

Deuteronomy 8:2-3

Therefore since such a great cloud of witness’s surrounds us, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us. Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher, completer of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising it’s shame, and has sat down on the right hand of the throne of God.

Hebrews 12:1-2

17: The Messiah - Prophet, Redeemer and Reconciler

Warnings

Live in a way to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last. We do it to get a crown that will last forever. Discipline yourselves, so that after we have preached, we ourselves will not be disqualified for the prize.

1 Corinthians 9:24-27

Do not anyone let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a new moon celebration or a Sabbath day. These are a shadow of the things that were to come, the reality is found in Christ. Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you from the prize.

John 13:34-35

So I say walk and live in the Spirit and you will not gratify the lusts of the sinful nature, for the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want to. But if the Spirit leads you, you are not under law.

Galatians 5:16-17

Let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armour of light. Let us behave decently, as in the daytime, not in orgies, and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy. Rather clothe yourselves with Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of your sinful nature

Philippians 1:9-11

Seeing we are surrounded by such a cloud of witnesses (Old Testament believers), let us lay aside everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles us, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfector of our faith, who for the joy set before Him, endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Hebrews 12:1-2

In all things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. And having disarmed the powers and authorities, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.

Colossians 2:13-15

We do not lose heart, though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For a momentary light affliction produces in us an eternal weight of glory, that far out weighs them all. So we focus not on what is seen, for what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

2 Corinthians 4:16-18

To keep me from becoming conceited because of great revelations given to me, there was given me a thorn in the flesh, an angel of Satan to torment me. Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But He said to me, “My Grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest one me … For when I an weak, then I am strong!
