The Peace\Fellowship Offering
Rev
      C.I Schofield D.D
The peace offering describes what can be, between God and
man, as a result of the Burnt Offering and the Meal\Grain offering.
Mankind as God’s enemies can once again have peace with God.
Read Leviticus 3 – The peace offering & Leviticus
7:11-21 - The Law of the peace offering, for extra rules related to this
      offering.
1 Timothy 2:5
“This is good and pleases God our Saviour, who wants all men to be saved
and come to a knowledge of the Truth. For there is on
God and one mediator between God and man, the Man Christ Jesus, who gave
Himself as a ransom for all men, the testimony given its proper time.”
The peace offering speaks of the whole work of Christ related
to the believer’s peace with God. He made peace!
Colossians
      1:19-20
“For God was pleased to have all His fullness dwell in Him, and through
Him to reconcile to Himself all things in heaven, by making peace though
      His blood on the cross”
Romans 5:1
“We have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ”
He is our Peace
Ephesians 2:14
“He Himself is our peace, who has made the two one and has destroyed the
barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, by abolishing in His flesh the
law with it’s commandments and regulations. His
purpose was to create in Himself one new man out of two, thus making peace.”
Both God and the sinner meet in peace;
God is propitiated and the sinner reconciled, both alike satisfied
with what Christ has done.  Through
Christs work we have fellowship with God.
The peace offering provided food for the priests.
It is the breasts and shoulders of the offering, which belonged
to the priests and these were cooked and the priests were fed.
The Challenge of peace for the church is that Christ
has left us His Peace, which speaks of continual fellowship with God.
John 14:27
“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you.
I do not give to you as the world gives to you. Do not let your hearts be
      troubled or afraid.”
John 16:33
“I have taught you --- so that In Me you may have peace”
Colossians
      3:15
“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts”
Philippians
      4:6-7
“Be anxious about nothing but in everything by prayer and petition with
thanksgiving, present your requests to God, and the peace of God which goes
beyond all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.”
Isaiah 26:3
“You will keep him in perfect peace, him whose mind is steadfast (On You),
      because He trusts in you.”
The perfect person and work of Christ provides our PEACE with
God, which is the basis of peace with each other.
Ephesians
      1 & 2
