Who is Jesus Christ? Who does the Bible Say Jesus Christ is:

The First and The Last, The Beginning and The End, The Almighty God

The Creator and Sustainer of all things, The King of Israel,

Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God, The Father of eternity,

The Prince of Peace, The Lamb of God, The Resurrection,

The Way, The Truth and The Life, The Saviour of all men.

The Bright and Morning Star, The King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

The God, who is the Word, came to earth, and became a man.

Prophecy - Isaiah 7:14

“A virgin shall conceive and give birth to a Son, and will call Him Immanuel (God with us)”

Prophecy - Isaiah 9:6

“To us a child is born, to us a Son is given and the government shall be on His shoulders. And He will be called, Wonderful, Counsellor, Almighty God, Father of Eternity (Everlasting Father) Prince of Peace”

Prophecy Fulfilled Luke 1:26-35 & Matthew 1:18-25

“In the sixth month, God sent the angel Gabriel to Nazareth, a town in Galilee, to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph – You will be with child and give birth to a son, an you will give Him the Name Jesus.”

The Nature of Jesus Christ

Philippians 2:6-8

Jesus Christ, who being in the very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made Himself of not reputation, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to death – even the death on a cross”

Jesus Christ is called The Word, The God, Creator, Life and the Light. The bible say’s God created light and darkness.

Living in the light is simply opposite to living in the darkness.

The light way represents God’s way and is the way of blessing.

Isaiah 45:7

“I form the light, and create darkness: I bring prosperity and create disaster; I, the Lord do all these things” –

1 John 1

”God is light in Him there is no darkness at all”

Psalm 145:5-6

“Great is the Lord and most worthy of praise; His greatness no one can fathom’ – “I will speak of the glorious splendour of your majesty and I will meditate on your wonderful works.”

God in Jesus Christ created everything, because He is light. Why does every thing have a shroud of darkness? What happened? Why does darkness rule?

The Heavens declare the glory of god, the skies proclain the work of His hands. Psalm 19:1

Darkness is the opposite of light. Darkness displays creature sinfulness, wickedness, arrogance and evil. Light is God’s design for both angelic and human creatures to live in and enjoy.

Light displays God’s Love, Peace, Goodness and Kindness.
