The Colours
of the Tabernacle
The colours of the tabernacle were extremely colourful
for their day. They were very royal and kingly. Below the colours are
listed and described with there meanings.
- Reddish Purple -- Represents the blood sacrifice of The Lamb of God
rare crushed sea snails was used for this dye.
- White -- Represents the perfect righteousness of The Messiah.
- Bluish Purple -- Represents Heaven, the Home of The
Lord. This colour was obtained from crushed molluscs. The mollusc was
harvested in the winter months.
- Purple -- Represents The king,
The Messiah.
- Crimson\ Scarlet --Represents
the blood sacrifice and was obtained from crushing Tolla Worms.
All
these colours represent the complete person of the Messiah
